Returns policy
The Case of Wine Company guarantees quality products and service. Your satisfaction is our first priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your order for Customer Care assistance. For fastest results, contact us by emailing
customercare@caseofwine.co.nz

Cancelled and/or returned orders are subject to a 15 % restocking fee.

  • Standard delivery for shipping will arrive within 3 to 5 days, following credit card authorization.
  • Standard deliveries are handled by XYZ Courier
  • All wine shipments require a signature for receipt. The recipient must be over 18 years of age.
  • Shipping charges are calculated when you check out.
  • In instances where one or more items in your order is not available for immediate shipment, we will notify you and offer a substitution recommendation or offer to hold your order until all items are available for shipment.
  • We cannot ship alcohol to PO Boxes.

Case LotsWine is only shipped in case lots of 12. Minimum order is 12 bottles (except XYZ) with multiples of 12 acceptable.

We ship to any NZ mainland destination and Waiheke Island under our standard shipping option. Deliveries outside of these areas and for overseas deliveries, please contact us.

Out of Stock Items
While we continually monitor inventory to ensure our website's accuracy, there is on occasion, instances where certain vintages sell out or simply are no longer available. When that occurs, we will normally make suggestions for comparable vintage or varietals substitutions. We will email you our recommendations before shipping; you can either accept our recommendations or have us replace the items with others you prefer. In cases where you choose not to have substitutions made to your orders, we will simply ship the available items minus the out of stock item(s) or cancel the order on your behalf (as applicable). Because we do not charge your credit card until we ship your order, charges for out-of-stock items will not appear on your bill.

Credit Card Refunds
Upon receiving your returned shipment, we will process a refund to the credit card used at time of purchase. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.

Late Orders

If you think your order is late, please note that:

  • Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing.
  • Generally orders placed after 3.00 pm will ship the next business day.
  • Delivery occurs Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
