This wine is delicious, just perfect for everyday sipping without the need to consume it with food. It is soft and medium, bodied with hints of plums and a lovely long, sweet finish. It is made from selected Negroamaro grapes grown in Apulia, near Brindisi, on Italy’s Adriatic coast. It was vinified using modern techniques to ensure that fermentation took place at controlled temperatures, this has the effect of producing a softly appealing wine. It is made to compliment the food styles of the region, which are pasta dishes with meat sauces, grilled meat and game.
